River’s Bed
Two bellies embody
wishes the heart beckons
odes for truth unfurl
in shallow napes
eyelashes palm
lips to finger’s tip
temperature is oil
between thighs etching maps
of hip curls & twists like ours
frothy tangles pantomime
“Honey,
wont you come swim in my syrupy wave?
dip in my pebbled nook?
one planted kiss sprouts
for you too, drift home again
inhale, and wink goodnight
for time melts away
in waters like hours
limber limbs creek solid lumber
lapping in river’s bed
sipping in her sweet stream
tight bundles unwind
eye to eye
